About Driftwood Sauna
Bonne Bay has always had a way of slowing people down. We wanted to lean into that — to offer something that lets you sit with it, breathe it in, and feel just how restorative it is to be truly present in a place like this.
Driftwood Sauna was born from a simple idea: pair the natural stillness of one of Newfoundland's most breathtaking settings with the proven benefits of sauna and cold plunge therapy. The result is an experience that is as good for the body as it is for the soul.
Where We Are
We're based in Norris Point, with the floating sauna dock located just across the tickle in Gadd's Harbour — nestled within Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's one of those places that feels untouched, and we intend to keep it that way.
Getting here is part of the experience. A short 5-minute zodiac ride departs from the Cat Stop Waterfront Pub Wharf in Norris Point, carrying you across the water to the floating sauna dock. Life jackets are provided, and if you have your own for swimming, bring it along — a cold plunge into Bonne Bay is highly encouraged.
Who We Are
Driftwood Sauna is family built, family owned, and family run. Day-to-day operations are led by Nicolas and Danielle Taylor, who are proud to be adding to the wellness and nature-forward spirit that the Gros Morne National Park is so well known for.
